Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth, and one of the reasons for that is all of the intense attention to detail that went into the park's many attractions. You've likely heard of the hidden Mickeys you can find all Disney-themed parks: Some are in plain sight, while others would require superhuman vision to locate on your own without any help.

One location at Disneyland in Anaheim, California that's loaded to the brim with Easter eggs and fun details is Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The attraction takes you on a bumpy ride as you dive deep into tombs filled with booby traps, fire, and that famous boulder. The ride has entertained millions of people ever since it first opened in 1995, and with how much entertainment it provides, it's no wonder why the ride often has some of the biggest lines you'll find in the entire park.

An extreme level of detail went into Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye. The path riders walk along while waiting in line alone contains over 1,300 props that make you feel like you're in the world of Indiana Jones. You can even find props used in the actual film Raiders of the Lost Ark if you look hard enough. And even more amazingly, you can find an entire secret language hidden in plain sight.

The Indiana Jones ride contains a secret language of Imagineers

The queue for Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye spans for half a mile. That's a long wait when filled with people, and the engineers behind the ride wanted to keep people entertained the entire time. As you walk through the queue, you may have noticed strange markings on the wall, almost looking like a forgotten language. And, as it turns out, that's pretty much exactly what it is. The messages are written in a language created by Imagineers that you can decode .

When the attraction first opened, Disneyland workers would hand guests special decoder cards to determine what the markings actually said. Some of the messages you'll find as you walk along the queue include: "True rewards await those who choose wisely," "One Iook will lead through the tunnel of torment to the gates of doom," and "Mara shall guide you through the doorway of your most secret desire in the chamber of destiny."

You can print out your own decoder card at home to uncover other hidden messages, or you can ask one of the cast members working at the ride for one. They sometimes have them on-hand! The next time you go to Disneyland in Anaheim, you have a whole new quest to pursue while queueing for Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye.
