Disney has shared a first look at the Tiana’s Palace marquee, a preview of what’s to come at the new Disneyland restaurant.

We’re almost there! Earlier this year, Disney revealed that Tiana’s Palace would be opening later in 2023 at Disneyland Resort. The restaurant will be a reimagining of the French Market Restaurant in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square, adding more Princess and the Frog inspiration after the opening of the Tiana-themed shop, Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets, in 2022. These are in addition to the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which will be replacing the previous Splash Mountain at both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom when it opens in late 2024.

While Disney hasn’t yet revealed an official opening date for Tiana’s Palace, they have shared a first look at the new Tiana’s Palace marquee that just went into place at the upcoming restaurant!

Tiana’s Palace Marquee

On the Disney Parks Instagram, Disney shared a first look at the Tiana’s Palace marquee, wheelhouse, and two smokestacks that are now in place for the future dining spot. Just like we saw with the Tiana’s Foods water tower that went up at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom, there are lots of tiara details here. You can see a tiara on each of the two smokestacks, as well as a tiara with a “T” for Tiana connecting them.

When it opens later this year, Tiana’s Palace will offer a menu filled with authentic New Orleans flavors inspired by Tiana’s friends and adventures. The menu will feature returning favorites from the previous French Market Restaurant, along with new options and seasonal flavors. When it opens, the restaurant will be a great quick-service option for New Orleans Square.
