From March 28 to May 11, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a galaxy far, far away, with brand-new experiences, thrilling attractions, exclusive merchandise, and fresh food and beverage options.
What’s New for 2025?
This year, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will debut an all-new nighttime projection show, ‘Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga’. Set to launch on March 28, this breathtaking spectacle will use state-of-the-art projection effects to illuminate Batuu’s spires, bringing to life some of the most memorable moments from the Skywalker saga. Accompanied by a powerful soundtrack featuring iconic themes from the films, this show promises to be a must-see spectacular. Be sure to check the Disneyland app or website for performance times.
Adding to the extraterrestrial enchantment, Batuu will also feature a mysterious new figure for a limited time. An enigmatic visitor, cloaked in Jedi robes, has sparked speculation that it could be none other than the legendary Luke Skywalker. Keep your eyes open for this rare character encounter!
Returning Fan Favorites
Back by popular demand, ‘Fire of the Rising Moons’ will once again offer guests a unique perspective on Disneyland’s nighttime fireworks display. This special experience, available on select evenings, features an awe-inspiring view of the fireworks above Batuu, complemented by a stirring musical score that pays tribute to Star Wars’ legendary heroes. Guests can take in the spectacle from various locations, including the Black Spire Spaceport, the TIE Echelon docking platform, and the speeder garage. For an extra immersive touch, MagicBand+ wearers can enjoy synchronized lights and vibrations during the event.
Ride Enhancements
Over in Tomorrowland, ‘Hyperspace Mountain’ makes a thrilling return, transforming the classic Space Mountain into a fast-paced Star Wars battle. Guests will soar through an adrenaline-pumping space battle between X-wing starfighters and Imperial TIE fighters. For those eager to speed to the front of the queue, this limited-time attraction overlay is also included with the purchase of Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass, subject to availability.
Meanwhile, ‘Star Tours The Adventures Continue’ will once again expand its intergalactic itinerary with new destinations and characters from hit Disney+ series Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian. With over 250 possible story combinations, guests may find themselves navigating the planet Seatos or receiving urgent messages from familiar faces like Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, Din Djarin and even Grogu.
