New Peach Sundae The Tropical Hideaway

Disneyland’s The Tropical Hideaway is about to get a refreshing new treat just in time for the late summer heat. Starting August 20th, guests can cool down with the all-new Peach Sundae, a fruity twist that brings Dole Whip Peach front and center. This limited-time delight combines the creamy, tangy texture we all love from Dole Whip with the soft sweetness of peach, making it a must-try for anyone who enjoys lighter, fruit-forward flavors in the parks. We knew that the announcement of this new flavor back in July had the potential for greatness, and now we are seeing the first of their more elaborate creations. Officially, Disney is defining this new sweet treat as a Peach Sundae: DOLE Whip Peach with caramel drizzle, topped with streusel and a peach ring. Umm.. delicious.

What makes this sundae extra fun is the way it balances familiar Dole Whip magic with something just a little different. While pineapple has always been the star of the Dole Whip show, I’ve long felt that in my heart, it ultimately belongs in the Oahu DOLE Plantation. Peach, on the other hand, is totally up for grabs and feels like the perfect seasonal option to brighten up a hot afternoon in Adventureland. Fans of The Tropical Hideaway already know this is the spot for adventurous flavor combos, and the Peach Sundae is an excellent example of how Disney keeps things fresh and exciting without straying too far from the classics.

Of course, like so many of the Hideaway’s special offerings, the Peach Sundae won’t be around forever. If you’re visiting Disneyland any time soon, be sure to stop by and give it a try before it disappears from the menu. The mix of nostalgia, novelty, and Instagram-worthy presentation makes this one of those treats that feels extra special and is definitely worth planning a snack break around.

P.S. Am I the only one who always hears the name Tropical Hideaway in the voice of the Tiki Room Birds?
