Fall has arrived at the Disneyland Resort, bringing seasonal celebrations, Halloween fun, and cultural traditions for visitors to enjoy. Guests can experience Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort and Plaza de la Familia, while select entertainment from the resort’s ongoing 70th Anniversary Celebration continues during the season.

Halloween Time runs through October 31, transforming both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure with festive decor, themed attraction overlays, and family-friendly entertainment. Highlights include “Mickey’s Trick and Treat,” a playful stage show perfect for younger guests. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and friends are also debuting special Halloween looks inspired by their vibrant 70th Celebration outfits, adding a unique twist to the festivities.

Inspired by Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Haunted Mansion Holiday reopens with new animatronics and updated projections. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters also receive haunting remixes to match the festive theme. After dark, Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! shifts into its thrilling nighttime version, Monsters After Dark.

Across the resort, seasonal decor sets the mood—from the iconic Mickey Pumpkin greeting guests on Main Street, U.S.A., to the looming figure of the Headless Horseman on Buena Vista Street.

The “Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular also returns at Disneyland Park, filling the skies with supernatural projections and eerie special effects. On select evenings, the show becomes even more dazzling with the addition of fireworks.

Over at Disney California Adventure, Plaza de la Familia honors Día de los Muertos with colorful displays, live entertainment, interactive family activities, and authentic Mexican cuisine. The seasonal experience, inspired by the traditions highlighted in Disney and Pixar’s Coco, is available through November 2.

Finally, guests can savor a wide selection of seasonal bites and sweets found throughout both parks. Dining locations are serving up a mix of returning favorites and brand-new creations designed for the season. Fresh offerings this year include:

Haunted Heatwave Pizza at Alien Pizza Planet

Clarabelle Spicy Chipotle Pineapple Lemonade at Café Daisy

Vampire Bat Cake Pop at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff

Chick-or-Treat Mulita at Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante

Fried Elote Corn on the Cob at Corn Dog Castle

Ursula Enchanted Waffles at Schmoozies!

Caramel-Pecan Irish Cream Cold Brew Cocktail at Smokejumper’s Grill

And more!
