November is one of the most interesting and eventful months of the year at Disneyland! During the first part of the month, between the seasonal celebrations, offerings from earlier in the year return for a limited time. After the holiday celebration kicks off, the resort is full of festive decor and special entertainment offerings. There is quite a lot of variety in entertainment offerings, crowd levels, and hours of park operations during this month.

We will take you through 11 key changes and things you need to be aware of if you’re planning a visit to Disneyland in November 2025. With so much going on during this month, it would be easy to miss important shifts in key offerings if you’re not aware of them. Keep reading for everything you need to know! At Mickey Visit, we bring you the latest news, including ride closures and new hotel changes.

One Christmas Show NOT Returning This Year

A particularly notable change this November is that one holiday nighttime spectacular will not be returning this year. At Disney California Adventure, the World of Color – Season of Light show will be unavailable during the celebration. Instead, the new 70th anniversary World of Color Happiness! will continue running.

There are a lot of other holiday shows running throughout the day at Disney California Adventure, including Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season, A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!, Holiday Toy Drummers, Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, and the “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” cavalcade.

Two Fireworks Shows This Month

There will be some shifts to the entertainment offerings at Disneyland Park after the end of the Halloween celebration. There are two fireworks shows during November, one each showing during different times of the month.

After the final performance of Halloween Screams, the park will shift back to Wondrous Journeys for the brief transitional time before the holidays. From November 1 through November 13, Wondrous Journeys will show with projections on weekdays and with fireworks on weekends. From November 14th onwards, the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” show will be offered, with fireworks every night.

Disneyland Lowering Price on Reserved Fireworks Viewing

Another notable change this year is that Disneyland is lowering the price of the Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace: Evening Dining Package this November. The dining package includes views of the Disneyland fireworks from the terrace and chilled foods, snacks, and desserts, as well as access to the terrace, where they can watch the show sans projections.

At the start of the holiday celebration beginning November 14, 2025, prices will be reduced from $89 per guest to $75 per guest. With this change, there will be some reductions to the adult portion of the menu. See all of the details about this change and whether we think the experience would be worth it in our separate report here.

Paint the Night Pauses, Holiday Parade Begins

A big entertainment shift is that the Paint the Night parade will temporarily pause performances starting on November 10 to make way for the holiday parade. This means that the last day to see Paint the Night this year is November 9. This may catch some visitors, who are expecting Paint the Night to run all the way up to the day before the holiday celebration, off guard. There will not be a parade showing at Disneyland Park from November 10 through November 13.

From November 14 onwards, A Christmas Fantasy Parade will be the holiday parade offering, with two showtimes a day at 3:00 pm and 5:15 pm. The holiday parade dining packages at Plaza Inn are offered a few days after the celebration begins, from November 16 onwards, and will have blackout dates at the end of the month from November 26 into the first week of December.

Seasonal Decor Shifting

Right after the end of the Halloween celebration, Disneyland gets to work removing the Halloween decor overnight. You can expect to see Christmas decor appearing in stages over the first couple of weeks of November, leading up to the official start of the holiday celebration. While some holiday decor will be up, along with holiday merch, the official celebration (featuring special entertainment, foods, ride overlays, etc.) will not kick off until November 14.

Seasonal Ride Closures

Leading up to the start of the Christmas celebration, there will be some seasonal ride closures. “it’s a small world” will be closed from October 30 through November 13 to install the “it’s a small world” Holiday, and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail will be closed from November 1 through November 13. Both attractions will reopen for the kickoff of the holiday celebration on November 14.

In addition to these two closures, there are a few other longer closures without a reopening date listed that are currently expected to extend into November. Among these is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which has been closed since early September and recently had its closure extended, and Storybook Land Canal Boats, which will be getting a new scene added during its closure. Update: We now have the news that Big Thunder is reopening early, and the reopening date for Storybook Land Canal Boats and Casey Jr. Circus Train.
