Disneyland will soon let “foolish mortals” say “I do” at one of its most iconic backdrops. Beginning in July, the Haunted Mansion Courtyard will open for wedding ceremonies and vow renewals.
The courtyard, already a popular photo spot for fans of the attraction, will host early morning ceremonies for up to 25 guests, along with the mansion’s grim grinning ghosts, before the park opens for the day.
Packages include an officiant, light décor, photography and transportation to and from a Disneyland Resort hotel.
Couples looking for a quieter setting with the mansion still in view can book Magnolia Park Terrace, located just steps away.
The ghostly theme is also heading to sea.
Starting in May 2026, Disney Cruise Line will offer Haunted Mansion-themed ceremonies inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the Disney Destiny, a new ship featuring shifting portraits and nautical lore tied to a ghostly sea captain and his bride.
The Haunted Mansion opened in 1969 in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square and remains one of the park’s most beloved attractions. In 2001, the seasonal Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas” debuted.
