Briar Patch Secrets:
The Briar Patch store is the only original structure that remains in Critter Country. When the small log cabin store first opened in 1956, it was the Indian Trading Post, selling handmade jewelry and goods to complement the authentic Native American performances nearby.
When the entire land was gutted and turned into Bear Country in 1972, the store remained. With the addition of Splash Mountain in 1989, the store became the Briar Patch.
One of the unique architectural details is the presence of huge carrots, seemingly growing through the grass roof.
