The political situation in Guatemala is making it increasingly difficult to bring its wonderful handicrafts to the United States, but the Disney buyers still do a fine job of it, judging from the clothing and knickknacks seen here mixed in with merchandise from other countries in Central and South America. It's a pretty eclectic mix: camisoles and bread-dough Christmas tree ornaments keep company with place mats and pot holders; Peruvian sweaters are for sale alongside rainbow-striped wrap skirts and beautiful molas that show off a form of appliqué work not often seen outside Central America. The colors are bright, the feeling very folksy, and the selection very interesting, though not as broad as that at the Adventureland Bazaar.
