Top 5 Tips For Visiting With Small Children
Kristin Swan
We’re going to keep it real here. Bringing younger children to Disneyland, the Happiest Place on Earth, isn’t always the easiest. A day at the park involves a lot of planning; outfit changes may be involved, you’re dealing with cold or hot weather, lines can be long, etc. But you’ve been dreaming of the day when you can take your little one(s) to Disneyland and get that magical picture with Mickey and see them laughing on Dumbo and holding hands with a character to take a stroll around the park. Well, we’re here to tell you that magical day is possible, and we’ve put together this list of tips to help make your visit to Disneyland with your children a little easier.

You may be wondering how you get from the parking lots to the parks and what transportation is available when you’re actually in the park. While there is, of course, a lot of walking involved at the theme parks, Disneyland does offer so many different means of transportation to help you and your family get around. Check out our guide to transportation at Disneyland here.

Disneyland App

We cannot stress enough how important it is to use the app during your visit. It will be the best tool throughout your visit, and it will be essential, especially when it comes to mobile ordering food, to avoid some longer lines. You can read our guide to the Disneyland app here and get a visual tutorial of the app on our Instagram here.

Lucky for you, we know of all the great little spots where you can park your kid in a more quiet area so they can nap, and you can get off your feet and enjoy some downtime yourself!
