Guests will be transported to a village square surrounded by fairytale cottages and pavilions. At the heart of the square will be Tangled Tower, inspired by the Disney film. Visitors will be invited to participate in a daily Royal Ribbon Parade around this tower maypole.
In the medieval village, a Fairy Tale Hall will serve as a meet-and-greet and autograph location for the bevy of beautiful princesses.
The Plaza Gardens was a stylish if underused entertainment venue for 55 years this prime location next to Sleeping Beauty Castle finally closed in 2011 that same year plans were announced for Fantasy Faire a medieval Village Square, which opened 2013.Fairytale cottages a tower inspired by Tangled a meet-and-greet area for Disney princesses live entertainment interactive experiences and evening dances all combined to make Fantasy Faire one of Disneyland's biggest additions in years.The buildings and activities may be new but the Fantasy Faire name isn't. Having been used for a gift shop and for the Princess Fantasy Faire area in Fantasyland.
Imagineers have made sure that Fantasy Faire not only feels like a part of Disneyland's existing Fantasyland, but also has a design sense of its own, adding more eye-engaging space to the park for guests to walk around in.
