Instead of filming with 3 forward facing cameras ala the Cinerama process Imagineers mounted 11 16mm cameras in a circle on top of an America Motors Car. In the pre-show area you could try a picture phone that allowed you to see the person you were talking to of course they had to have a picture phone also.

In 1960, Bell Telephone took over sponsorship and operations of the attraction. Telephone employees escorted guests into the theater, delivered the introduction and exit spiels, and were on hand to answer questions as guests exited the theater into a telephone exhibit.
