Disney’s live-action version of One Hundred and One Dalmatians had its New York premiere on November 18, 1996; to help promote the new movie, 10 days later Disneyland opened the Dalmatian Celebration area.

Guests are whisked from Tomorrowland to Disneyland Hotel on board this famous "Highway in the Sky."

Guests travel around Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom aboard open-aired railway cars pulled by steam engines. Along the way, guests may disembark at stations on Main Street USA, New Orleans Square, Mickey's Toontown, or Tomorrowland.

Inside the handsome room were detailed models, concept illustrations, and even videos depicting proposed developments for the park. Among the tantalizing plans were some that were fully realized (Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad), and some that never materialized (Discovery Bay and a new area near Dumbo the Flying Elephant called Dumbo’s Circusland).
