TD: Yes.

GC: How ya feeling? How ya feeling?

TD: Nervous, definitely.

GC: Can you tell us real quick how you studied for this.

TD: Just a lot of preparation over the last 3 years. Um, keeping all the articles I can, gathering all the information that I can. And keeping the Cast Members testing me all the time.

GC: All right, let's hope that 3 years of studying really pays off for you. Let's hear it for Tony. From Royal Oak, Michigan, a returning finalist, say hello to Timothy Wolf. Timothy, Timothy, Timothy, I don't even know where to start with you. You have how many degrees?

TW: Three.

GC: And the degrees are in?

TW: Theater, math and philosophy.

GC: And he's working on one in trivia. All right. So, studying is nothing new to you?

TW: Uh, actually yes, it is.

GC: Ha, ha, ha. All right, let's hope it pays off for you. Timothy Wolf, my friends. And over here from Salt Lake City, Utah. Do you know these people? Here's Steven Dennen. Now Steven, I understand you have two six-month old twin girls? Is that right?

GC: Ah, there they are. [the twins are raised overhead for all to see] Future trivia finalists. And Steven wanted to say a big happy birthday to someone very special so we're going to do that real fast. Go ahead.

TT: Yes, I am.

TT: Absolutely. Many hours, putting in long hours studying.

GC: Let's hope it pays off for you. Tab Taylor, my friends. From King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, say hello to Pat Maclorn. Ho, ho, Pat's got friends. Now Pat, you're the third finalist from King of Prussia, is there something in the water down there that makes you guys good a trivia?

PM: No. I taught them everything they all knew, and then I decided it's turn to come so here I am.

GC: All right, good luck Pat Maclorn. And right next to me, a very impressive young lady. Our youngest finalist ever at eighteen years old, from Boston, Massachusetts, say hello to Aurora Swippinbag. I'm just very impressed. This is quite a success story. You've been with the company how long?

AS: Only about six months.

GC: Six months and she's a trivia store finalist. That's quite an accomplishment. Now, when you're not working at the, uh, Disney Stores you have a, another thing you're doing and what is that?

AS: I'm a full-time student at Harvard University.

GC: Harvard University. Good luck to you, Aurora Swippinbag. And over here, from Annapolis, Maryland, the grand old man of the trivia finals, in his fifth final, say hello to Gary Pyle. Ah, Gary, oh Gary, oh Gary.. So, five finals, huh?

GP: Yea, pops.

GC: Well, let's hope you don't mess up the stage. Let's hear it for Gary Pyle. And, and last but certainly not least, another repeat finalist from St. Charles, Illinois say hello to Barb O'Gorick. Now Barb, you were here last year and you got pretty far. How far did you get?

BO: Final round.

GC: All the way to the final speed round. And what was the deciding factor?

BO: One question.

GC: One question. One question. These trivia contest can be really tight. Listen Barb, we hope this is your year, Barb. Let's hear it for Barb O'Gorick. And how about a big round of applause for all our finalists. Let's wish them luck. And now, the rules of the Circle of Trivia are really quite simple. Round one will consist of twenty questions. I will repeat each question twice, and twice only. Contestants you will have ten seconds to write down your answer. At the end of ten seconds we'll call time and we'll check your answers. Each correct answer will receive one point. Incorrect answers will receive no points. This sound [African beads] means that time is up. Once again, each correct answer will receive one point and the respect of all. Incorrect answers no point and a small dip in self-esteem. This sound [buggy horn] means that the round is over. At the end of round one, only the top four contestants will go on to round two. At the end of round two, only the top two contestants will go on to our speed round. It is here that the contestant who grabs the lion's share of questions will be crowned our 1994 ruler of trivia.
