The former grounds of the House of the Future and the Alpine Gardens were re-landscaped into the splashy King Triton Gardens
in 1996 also called simply the Triton Gardens. This beautiful area was named after the ocean monarch from the 1989 Disney
movie The Little Mermaid.
The Triton Gardens supported several statues of the character who establishes gardens these were. One water spouting
representation of the king stood in the middle of the pond and his smiling daughter Ariel perched on a rock.
