Light Magic was a very short lived parade that was designed to replace the Main Street Electrical Parade. Due to critical response from the public and technical problems it was canceled. Light towers, seating areas, fiber optics (installed on Main Street buildings) were all installed in preparation of Light Magic.

For the first time Audio Animatronics like figures were used on the floats and remote controlled crocodiles and large African bugs followed them down the street. There was even a waterfall on a float and rain coming down from the canopy. At intervals the parade would stop and the performers would put on a brief street show for the guests featuring Circle Of Life.
