It’s going to be in the mid-80s in Anaheim all next week and likely all next month, too. But there may nonetheless be chills running down the spines of Disneyland guests: Disneyland’s haunted Halloween Time has begun.

Yes, it’s still August, and no, I don’t have a good rationale for this frankly egregious holiday creep, but here we are as of August 23, there are carved pumpkins on Main Street, there’s a haunted hootenanny in Cars Land, and Mickey and Minnie stroll through Disneyland in their Halloween best. And in particularly exciting news, The Haunted Mansion, which has been closed and under construction since January, has reopened for the season with a new (temporary) Nightmare Before Christmas theme and a “virtual queue” system.

But the creepy Halloween makeover isn’t the only reason to be excited about the season at Disneyland: Halloween Time also brings a whole new menu of seasonal food items, both Halloween-specific and more general fall treats. Redditors are particularly excited about the Caramel Apple Cold Brew at Café Daisy and the Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat is also drawing some buzz, as is the deeply confusing (and a little concerning) Blueberry Corn Dog from the Little Red Wagon.

There is also a new set of drinks with Disney’s endlessly popular Glow Cubes reusable plastic ice cubes that come in special themed shapes and colors. This season, they’ve got a Mickey shaped Pumpkin Glow Cube, a Glow Cube shaped like Kuzco’s Poison Bottle from The Emperor’s New Groove, and a Poisoned Apple Glow Cube, each of which comes floating in a variety of seasonal drinks. There’s a Pumpkin Mule at Goofy’s Kitchen, an Açai Blueberry Smoothie at Galactic Grill, and tons of others across the parks.
