When it was announced that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be opening up at both Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios, fans got pretty excited when they heard that they can live their own adventure in the galaxy far, far away from Disney Imagineering. Most of all, fans got pretty jazzed about the opportunity to board the Millennium Falcon.

MakingStarWars reported on some details for the highly-anticipated ride that will give guests the chance to pilot the piece of junk.

According to MSW, the Millennium Falcon attraction will involve Hondo Ohnaka from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Hondo will be helping guests with their mission as they travel to Han Solo's home world of Corellia. There will be three different missions randomized for guests to participate in.

Apparently, the time period in which Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge takes place will be sometime between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: Episode IX. MSW also reports that on the Millennium Falcon attraction, Kylo Ren has taken over his late father's home planet.

The ride vehicle for this attraction will consist of 6 different seats in the cockpit of the most iconic ship in the franchise's history. MSW also gave descriptions for the three mission scenarios:

Mission Scenario One: Hondo gets you involved in a race on Corellia that he's sure you can't lose with the Millennium Falcon.

Mission Scenario Two: Hondo sends you to the First Order Shipyard on Corellia, possibly on a mission for the Resistance.

Mission Scenario Three: Your crew will have to steal some piece of cargo but the cargo is guarded by a giant monster similar to The Maw from Solo: A Star Wars Story and you'll have evade the creature like the mythic heroes stealing the treasure from the sleeping dragon. Spoiler: The dragon wakes up.

/Film also reports that beyond the Millennium Falcon attraction, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is planned to have numerous seasonal events that will help develop the experience and stories that will be prominent in Batuu. While the land for the time being will remain between The Last Jedi and Episode IX, it is likely that the story can expand beyond that period.
