'The Disney Afternoon Avenue' is coming back to Disneyland

Grow up in the '90s? Did you visit Disneyland then? If so, you might remember "The Disney Afternoon Avenue," the walkway between Fantasyland and Toontown that Disney themed to its line-up of late-afternoon cartoons, including DuckTales, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, and TaleSpin.

Ya miss it? Because it's coming back for one night only.

Disneyland today announced its next two "Disneyland After Dark" events, and the March 7 after-hours, hard-ticket event will be themed as "90s Nite," complete with a "re-imagined Disney Afternoon Avenue." Disney will be bringing back the Disney Afternoon Stamp Map and even the long-gone Indiana Jones Adventure Decoder Cards for the event, which also will feature a 90's-themed musical cruise aboard the Mark Twain and a 90s-themed fireworks show.

Disneyland's other newly announced After Dark event will feature a Valentine's Day theme. The "Sweethearts' Nite" will run February 7 and feature an Imperial Ball next to It's a Small World, as well as character meet and greets with famous Disney couples.

Both events cost $99 and start at 9pm, with mix-in access to the park starting at 6pm. Pre-sale for annual passholders starts on November 27, and the tickets go on sale to the public the next day, November 28. Fans are encouraged to dress up for the events, with a 90s look for the throwback night and Disneybounding for the couple's event. The events also includes special food and merchandise for sale, access to select attractions, and unlimited Photopass downloads.
