In its first holiday season since the COVID shutdown, Disneyland celebrates the return of beloved traditions and introduces new ways to make memories with live entertainment, festive foods, themed merchandise, wintertime decor, new characters, and more.

Merry Traditions

Guests are invited to experience the return of “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade as well as the “Believe… In Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular and the seasonal transformations of Haunted Mansion Holiday, It’s a Small World Holiday, Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, and Maters Jingle Jamboree. Disney characters donning their gay apparel as well as Santa Claus make appearances throughout the parks. Don’t miss a photo op with the 60-foot Christmas tree on Main Street and the frosted Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle.

Something to Celebrate

At Disney California Adventure, explore an array of cultural celebrations including Christmas, Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day with the Festival of Holidays. Be sure to check out the ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, featuring foklórico and samba dancers, and keep an eye out for Mirabel from the upcoming film “Encanto,” set in Colombia. Live bands including the Mariachi Divas, Mostly Kosher, Holiday Toy Drummers, and The Mistletoes! perform throughout the park.

Cultural Flavors

The Festive Foods Marketplace at Disney California Adventure offers tastes from around the world. Browse eight market stands filled with bites and sips such as chana masala with garlic naan, Impossible Chorizo Queso Fundido, calamansi melon lemonade, and maple hazelnut hot buttered rum. Sip and Savor passes are also available to purchase.

Candy Canes and Silver Lanes

Themed sweet treats can be found at most every venue in the park, from holiday brownies and Mickey gingerbreads at Jolly Holiday Bakery to a peppermint chocolate martini at Lamplight Lounge, plus specialty churros in flavors such as chocolate-cinnamon and gingerbread crumble. Savory options include a turkey sandwich with stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce; pork pozole; and stout-braised short ribs atop creamy spiced butternut squash risotto.
