Disneyland Turns Mickeys Toontown House Into A Private Party Location

Young kids with a birthday happening in the first few months of the new year who have always wanted to have Mickey Mouse pop into their party before hopping on a roller coaster are in for a special treat at Disneyland.

The Celebrate in Mickey’s Toontown private parties will be available for a limited time at Disneyland from Jan. 19 through March 6.

The 90-minute private birthday parties for groups of up to 10 people in Mickey’s House in Toontown can be scheduled at Bookings will be available soon for the private parties.

The $350 private parties include photos with Mickey Mouse, cupcake decorating, games and crafts for young children and quick entry to Gadget Go Coaster in Toontown.

The Celebrate in Mickey’s Toontown private parties do not include admission to Disneyland. Daily theme park admission can range from $104 for a tier 1 single park ticket to $224 for a tier 6 parkhopper ticket depending on the date.

The limited-time private parties will end just before Toontown closes for an extended renovation.

Walt Disney Imagineering will reimagine Mickey’s Toontown with new interactive play areas for young children as part of the launch of the new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway dark ride at Disneyland in 2023.

Mickey’s Toontown will close in March 2022 for construction and won’t reopen until sometime in 2023.

Before the pandemic, Mickey’s House was used as a meet-and-greet location where visitors could rub elbows with the famous mouse and pose for photos.
