November 28--E. Cardon 'Card' Walker, the former Walt Disney Co. chief executive who headed the company for nearly 15 years following the deaths of founders Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney, has died of congestive heart failure at his home in La Canada, Calif. He was 89. During his 45-year tenure at Disney, the executive rose through the ranks after starting out in the mailroom in 1938.
