Lion King Celebration Parade
For the first time Audio Animatronics like figures were used on the floats and remote controlled crocodiles and large African bugs followed them down the street. There was even a waterfall on a float and rain coming down from the canopy. At intervals the parade would stop and the performers would put on a brief street show for the guests featuring Circle Of Life.

Light Magic
Light Magic was a very short lived parade that was designed to replace the Main Street Electrical Parade. Due to critical response from the public and technical problems it was canceled. Light towers, seating areas, fiber optics (installed on Main Street buildings)
were all installed in preparation of Light Magic.

Aladdin's Royal Caravan
On one float golden camelas turned their heads from side to side and spit into the crowd lining the street. It was actually kind of refreshing on a summer day if you happened to be in a direct line of the spitting beasts.

Fantasy On Parade
The ingenuity of the Disneyland designers remains endless and amazing. A long lavender caterpillar deploys winged butterflies who do a dainty little dance before caterpillaring up Main Street again. The wooden soldiers and their band really look like wooden soldiers.

Parade Of Toys
On his toy drum Mickey Mouse beats out a Christmas salute. Donald Duck is in the driver's seat and the Big Bad wolf close behind. Some 60 Disney characters plus 100 Marching toys marching units, bands, dancers and singers are included in the parade. The “Parade Of The Toys” also will be a daily Disneyland feature throughout the yule season from December 23 through December 31.
